Lion
by Amy LV
Students - you may have noticed that yesterday's poem was serious, and today's poem is silly. That is because I like to explore all different sides of me when writing. What are the different sides of you? You might wish to make a series of headings describing different parts of you (funny me, sad me, serious me, sister me, reader me, nature me), under these headings, list moments of you being this kind of person.
Thank you to Laura Purdie Salas, author of STAMPEDE, for telling me about PiBoIdMo (Picture Book Idea Month), a month long celebration of finding ideas for picture books. I'm in, and I'll keep the PiBoIdMo picture on the right hand side of this blog for the whole month. And of course, it's also NaPoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month). I'm not in.
