We all have wishes. Well, two years ago, after our dear old dog Eli died, we wished for a new puppy. The right puppy. On Petfinder, we found her - Cali. And now there's another new dog in the family - my mother's dog Max. He and Cali are buddies. Thank goodness for dogs.

If you are wondering how the dandelion syrup from yesterday turned out, it is magnificent! I tripled the recipe and ended up with over three quart jars full. It both has the consistency of and tastes like a flowery honey. More batches to follow...
